In 2015, Richmond, Virginia will make its debut to the world as the first U.S. city to host the UCI Road World Cycling Championships since Colorado Springs in 1986. One of the world’s most popular sports, cycling will captivate a whole new generation of Americans.
On Richmond’s Wheel celebrates our city’s love affair with the bicycle. It celebrates Richmond’s journey to the 2015 Worlds and the legacy of bicycle culture, awareness and infrastructure that will forever leave its mark on the city long after the world’s best cyclists have left to pursue their dreams in other places.
